Most of the area is occupied by a calendar that shows events based on configured sources.

Control elements

The screen-shot has labels for controls.

"Source Type" tab lists all event sources associated with the current calendar. The event sources are defined in "Calendar Configuration" dialog, Events tab. Sources can be hidden or shown by clicking on it.

"Users" tab holds all users that are assigned to non-hidden event sources. You can hide/show events per-user by clicking on a user name. Hours that belong to events without assignees are shown as "Unassigned" user.

#7 Date navigation
By clicking  "<" and ">" buttons, a user can navigate back and forward in time. "today" button quickly returns a user to the current date.

Users can navigate to a different mode by clicking within a calendar. For instance, user can switch from monthly to weekly mode by clicking on a week number, displayed as "W" plus the week's number.

 For your convenience, once hovering over the date number, in quarterly or monthly mode, you'll be able to see the whole date in the title. This is especially handy if you are working in quarter mode:

In addition, user can quickly navigate to the necessary date by clicking on a calendar that is attached to the calendar header:

Foe each day, the daily hours are displayed. The format, either in hours or days, depends on the one that user has selected on the left panel, next to "Total".

Information dialog

Clicking on any event activates information dialog:

By clicking either on event blocks or information dialogs for the events, users can perform quick edit for the events. Such as assignee, status, priority, or issue type change.

For instance, the event status can be changed on its information dialog:

The status can also be changed by clicking on event block:

Similarly, the assignee for the events can be quickly changed by clicking either the events or information dialogs for the events.

More event users can be quickly added to the events that are based on custom sources such as Meetings, for example.
