Edit and Delete Jira Date Events
Jira Date Events remain synchronized with their corresponding Jira issues, allowing you to update event information directly from Calendar. Depending on the source configuration and your Jira permissions, you can modify event details, update issue fields, or remove the event from the calendar.
Opening the Edit Event Dialog
There are several ways to edit a Jira Date Event:
Click the Edit button in the Event Information dialog.
Double-click the event on the calendar.
The Edit Event dialog displays the editable fields configured for the Jira Date source.

Editing Event Details
The fields available for editing depend on the Jira Date source configuration and the selected Jira project.
You can update the event date, time, and any editable Jira fields displayed in the dialog. Changes are saved both to the calendar and the corresponding Jira issue.
Some Jira fields, such as Created, Updated, or Resolved, are maintained automatically by Jira and cannot be modified.
Edit Using the Jira Interface
If you need to update Jira fields that are not available in the Edit Event dialog, select Edit via Jira.
This opens the native Jira issue dialog, where you can modify all fields available for the issue according to your Jira permissions.
Changes saved in Jira are automatically reflected in Calendar.

Quick Edit
For frequently updated fields, Calendar provides Quick Edit, allowing you to modify selected values without opening the Edit Event dialog.
Depending on the event configuration, you can quickly update fields such as:
Issue Type
Status
Assignee
Reporter
Priority
To use Quick Edit, simply click the corresponding field on the event block or in the Event Information dialog and select a new value.
Tip
Configure these fields to be displayed on the event block or Event Information dialog to make Quick Edit available.

Working with Issue Security
If Issue Security is configured for the selected Jira project and you have the required permissions, the Security Level field is available in the Edit Event dialog.
This allows you to change the visibility of the Jira issue without opening Jira.

Deleting Jira Date Events
You can delete a Jira Date Event in two ways:
Click Delete in the Edit Event dialog.
Click the Delete icon in the Event Information dialog.
Unlike deleting a Jira issue, deleting a Jira Date Event only removes the event from the calendar.
The Jira issue itself is not deleted.
Instead, Calendar clears the Jira date field (or fields) used by the Jira Date source. Once those values are removed, the event no longer appears on the calendar.
Note
If the date values used by the Jira Date source are cleared directly in Jira, the corresponding calendar event is also removed automatically.
