The Global options tab defines how events behave outside the app and how the app appears in Jira.

Purpose
Provides administrative control over export behavior, user suggestions, and app visibility.
Impact on users
Exported events show the correct organizer
The app may appear or not in project sidebars based on admin choice
Non-Jira users can be excluded from suggestions (useful for Jira Service Management)
Key settings
Setting | Description |

Event organizer | Choose whether the reporter or assignee is used as the organizer for exported events. |
Project sidebar visibility | Show or hide the calendar in the Jira project sidebar. |
Disable calendar export | Prevent exporting events for security or data compliance needs. |
Exclude non-Jira users from suggestions | Removes Jira Service Management customers from user autocomplete fields. |
