Company Calendar for Jira v 9.2.x: Permissions
The Permissions section allows administrators to control access to key features of Company Calendar for Jira. These settings determine which user groups can see the Calendar menu and which groups are allowed to create new calendars.

Available permissions
Permission | Description |
|---|---|
Calendar menu visibility | Grants users access to the Calendar menu in Jira. Users without this permission will not see the Calendar option. |
Calendar creation | Allows users to create new calendars. Users without this permission can still view calendars if they have the necessary access but cannot create their own. |
Assigning permissions
Administrators can grant either permission to one or multiple Jira groups.
To update permissions:
Go to the Permissions section.
Select one or more groups for each permission.
Save the changes to apply them.
Grant calendar creation permissions only to groups that need to build and manage calendars. This helps control calendar structure and prevents unnecessary duplicates.
