Plans Support in Data Center
Since you are using Advanced Roadmaps for Jira, you can create Gantt charts to represent your plans.
Let’s assume you have configured the following hierarchy levels.

Then, you’ve selected the fields Target start (start) and Target end (end) to visualize the work on the timeline in your plan.

The plan can be replicated in Gantt Suite by creating and configuring a Gantt chart based on the same project, using the configured fields and the “Plans: Parent Link” link type.

When working with a Gantt chart, you can update the plan in Jira by dragging and dropping work items in accordance with the configured hierarchy levels. You can also create new work items, including child items, using inline work item creation, or update relationships by editing the Parent Link field directly in the chart table.

Known Limitations
Child work item creation does not auto-select the correct work type based on hierarchy.
When creating a new child work item via inline creation, the work type is not automatically pre-populated based on the selected parent and the configured work type hierarchy. Instead, the last used work type is applied and may need to be adjusted to comply with the hierarchy.

Parent Link field suggestions may include out-of-scope work items.
Out-of-scope work items may appear in suggestions when editing the Parent Link field inline in the chart table. To get accurate results, start typing the work item key.

Chart order is not updated automatically after setting the Parent Link field.
Once the Parent Link field is set for a work item, its position in the chart is not updated automatically. To reflect the change, the chart must be refreshed manually.

Exclusion rules configured in a Jira Plan must be manually reflected in the Gantt Suite chart by adjusting the chart configuration.

Task order may differ from Plans and may need to be adjusted in the Gantt chart.
