Configuration
The Configuration section of the app administration consists of multiple tabs
Date and time formats

Global settings
Date and time formats & Look and feel
Both tabs, Date and time formats and Look and feel, allow an admin to configure the default settings for all new app users. The default settings can be overridden per user, in "User settings".
|
Note that the default All-Day Event Hours can be taken from Jira Time Tracking settings.
The Time View Long Events Display means the display for the events that are either equal to all-day events or longer than them. Based on your preferences, you can adjust the display for long events either on a time grid or in the all-day section of a calendar.
|
Default Event Minutes setting is a default event’s duration in case it is based on a single date-time picker.
Work Time
Starting with app version 9.1.x, a new Work Time tab has been added, allowing administrators to configure working and non-working days and manage yearly calendar settings.
The work time configuration covers three years - the current year and the next two years. When a new calendar is created, the current year is set as the default, with Monday to Friday defined as working days. For existing calendars, the current year is added automatically.
Jira admins can manage working and non-working days and their overrides for each year.
The Copy to Next Year feature allows administrators to transfer calendar settings from one year (the source year) to the next year (the target year).
It copies all working and non-working days from the source year.
If the target year already includes overrides, the settings are merged instead of being overwritten.

Email notifications
On Email notifications tab, an admin can enable the email notifications for Jira and custom based events.
|
For the email notifications to go into effect, once they are globally enabled by an admin, they have to be enabled on a source level.
Global options
On the Global options tab, administrators can configure key settings that affect how the calendar behaves across projects.
Disable calendar export to comply with internal security or data protection policies.
Define who will appear as the event organizer for events exported outside the One Calendar, either the reporter or the assignee.
Control whether the One Calendar app is visible in the project sidebar, depending on business needs.
Exclude non-Jira users from user suggestions, which is especially helpful for hiding Jira Service Management customers.
