Editing Worklog Events

Editing Worklog Events

When it comes to editing worklogs, besides being able to change the time tracking fields, the Work Time Tracking Calendar provides extra features. On Edit Event dialog, you’ll be able to change the issue key and/or worklog user, assuming you have the required permissions.

Please note that, once the issue key and/or worklog user was changed for an existing worklog, the previously created worklog is deleted and a new one is added. As result, user with no permission to Delete Own Worklogs will not be able to edit his/her worklog by changing its issue and/or worklog user.

Did you know there was a quick way to open Edit dialog for a worklog event? To quickly start editing an existing worklog double click the worklog event. To save the changes you made click Ctrl + Enter. That’s it. It is that simple.

Quick Edit

Starting with version 8.3 of the app, users can quickly edit the worklog events by using the Quick Edit functionality.

The Quick Edit function allows users to efficiently modify fields such as worklog user, priority, issue type, status, assignee, and reporter for worklog events, either directly on the event block or within the event’s info dialog.
