The event re-assignment in Timeline view
Need quickly re-assign a planning event or change a work reporter? Both tasks can be easily managed in Timeline view.
To perform a quick event re-assignment in Timeline view, switch from Issues to Users tab.
For instance, one of the Jira users is overloaded with planned work for July 30th, 2024 and you would like to perform some re-assignment to reach out the planned workload balance. In Timeline view, with the Users tab selected, you can simply drag a planning event from one user to another to replace the start point user by a target user. As a result, the event user is changed.

Another example, a worklog reporter is needed to be quickly changed. This can be easily achieved by simply drag-and-dropping a worklog event from one user to another, assuming both, current user and target user have the required project permissions.
