Adjusting Worklog Source Configuration to Retrieve Fewer Issues

If you see the following warning, your Worklog source includes more than 10,000 Jira issues with worklogs.

To prevent performance problems or the calendar from becoming unresponsive, Work Time Calendar processes a maximum of 10,000 issues with worklogs per source. If this limit is exceeded, some worklogs may not be displayed.

How to avoid the limit

Update the Worklog source configuration so that it covers a smaller set of issues:

  • Avoid broad filters such as All Issues.

  • For projects with a large number of issues, use Project JQL to narrow the source. For example:

    • key > DEMO-10000

    • updated > "2026-01-01"

  • Split a large source into several smaller Worklog sources when all issues need to be covered.

  • If users only need worklogs related to their own work, configure separate sources or calendars with JQL that limits the relevant issues.

After changing the JQL, click Check to verify that the source is within the supported limit.
