Advanced Roadmaps support in Data Center / Server

Given that you are using Advanced Roadmaps for Jira, you can create Gantt charts to represent your plans.
Let’s assume you’ve configured the next hierarchy levels in Jira.

Then, you’ve selected the fields Target start (start) and Target end (end) to visualize the work on the timeline in your plan.

The plan can be replicated in Gantt Suite by creating and configuring a Gantt chart, using the project the plan is based on, the configured fields and a special link type configuration called ‘Advanced Roadmaps: Parent Link’.

When working with Gantt chart, you can affect the Advanced Roadmaps plan hierarchy in Jira by drag-and-dropping the issues in accordance to configured hierarchy levels.
Let’s say, there is an issue without parent, in your current plan.

In Gantt chart, simply, drag-and-drop the issue to a desired parent. As a result, the issue will obtain a parent task thanks to configured Parent Link dependency in chart configuration.

The change made in Gantt Suite will be reflected in Jira.
